Christmas Cookies

Christmas cookies before heading to the Christmas Fireworks at the fairgrounds. Also, did the Christmas Light Parade the night before.

Happy Thanksgiving 2012!

Breelyn made a fruit turkey. She was very particular about the placement of each fruit. I put a few raspberries on and she immediately took them off and put them back on all by herself. Stinker.

Bradley slep through dinner, so I actually enjoyed a meal!

Love him. He was only into eating olives and raspberries when the time came. He doesn't like his picture taken so this is as good as it gets.

Kindergarten Shots

I haven't done a well child checkup for Bree since she was 18 months. So, I got her one when Brad had an appointment in November. Our Dr. told me to have her kindergarten shots done. It was horrific. They quickly stabbed her thighs like they do babies. It was shocking. I really thought she could get a shot like adults do. There are 5 and they only had 4 so she needs 1 more. I know she could have held still and I think she will now bed terrified of shots for a long time. I understand them wanting to get it over quick but she had deep bruises for weeks. 

Before it happened I reminded her about Sid the Science Kid getting a shot and that she could tell her friends at preschool how it went just fine. PBS kids lied! I asked her if she was going to tell her friends in preschool. 

"I am NOT going to tell them. I do NOT want them to know what happens!" I agree.

5th Anniversary!

Brandon and I celebrated our 5th Anniversary November 17, 2012.

We went to the SLC Temple and walked around the City Creek Mall and went to 

The Cheesecake Factory. We had more fun plans but decided to come home early the next day which turned was a good choice because our kids got sick that night.

Happy Birthday Bradley!

Bradley turned 2 last night! Wow! We had a jungle party. More pics to come.

Bradley absolutely Loves giraffe's. He took this little plastic giraffe to bed with him last night. :)

We made Brad a giraffe cake, it was huge! So fun though. 

Happy Happy Birthday Bradley, Dear!

Bradley's Birthday was so much fun! We hung out in a jungle with monkeys, played pin the tail on the zebra, ring toss with an alligator, and ate a giraffe! It was a "Swingin'" good time!

Seriously the coolest toy ever! Maybe not as cool as a barbie jeep :)
but I recommend one for every kid. I want it!!

Watermelon Soup and a Pink Strawberry Cake

Blogger says I'm out of picture space so I haven't been able to upload for a very long time. 

Here is Breelyn's 4th Birthday cake. She wanted a pink strawberry cake and watermelon soup for her birthday.  I actually did find a watermelon soup recipe but made a watermelon cake instead and Grandma R covered the pink strawberry cake the next day. I saw a cool fruit "cake" on pinterest and then... well the cake doesn't look much like the picture :) I'm sure you've all seen the pretty one. I had good intentions and she was excited to help me make it. We grabbed some little cupcakes just in case it didn't make it to the park.

Breelyn went to a Princess Birthday party for Gabby's 4th Birthday.

She dressed up as Belle. So cute. We had to watch the show to get the hair just right. 

Good thing she thought it was perfect because it didn't go so well for me.
