This is just a list of the funny things Breelyn says. When Bradley learns to talk it will include him :) (the newest things will go on the top):
- Bree (Summer 12): "Grandpa we shouldn't drink pop, it's not good for us." Grandpa: "Would you like some?" Bree: "No, because it's not healthy................. Well maybe just a little bit of pop."
- Bree to trying something new: "Did I like it when I was 3?" Mom: "No" Bree: "Well, I like it now that I'm 4!"
- (10/24/12) Breelyn woke up crying in the middle of the night because she wet the bed. "Dada dada dada!" Brandon took care of her bed and her. A few hours later, crying again "Dada dada, my pajamas slipped off my body while I was sleeping." More crying. Brandon: "No they didn't I took them off you after you wet the bed, go back to sleep."
Two weeks after Bree’s fourth birthday, she came in to Dad’s
bedroom while he was reading a book on his bed and asked him if he had any of
those shirts for pajamas that she used to wear back when she was three. She
found an especially large T-shirt and put it on. “Look Dad,” she said holding
her arms up showing how big it was on her, “I look like the Holy Ghost!” Dad laughed
and said, “you mean a normal ghost right?” “No,” she replied with a serious
look on her face, “those Ghosts are just made out of sheets and pretend.” (9/25/12)
- On our way home from IF after the temple we stopped at Taco Bell because we needed something quick and it was really late. We got Bree a chicken quesadilla. Bree: "Eww! Is there peppers in this?" Me: "No." Bree: "Onions?"
Me: "No." Bree: "Then why does it taste so bad?"
- Bree: "Mom, did Bradley come from an egg in your tummy?" Mom: "No." Bree: "I don't mean an egg you crack I mean from the special eggs Heavenly Father puts inside Mommies?"
- We were at my mom's house and Breelyn was going potty. Breelyn yells, "Grandma, Grandma! Come here! Come watch me poop! (she loves to be praised and acknowledged for anything she does)
- I told Breelyn a joke I heard on one of her kid cd's "Why was 6 afraid of 7? Because 7, 8,9! Haha" Breelyn says "Guess what, Why was 6 afraid of 7? Because 7,8,9,10!" Don't think she got the joke!
- Brandon asked me "Will you do me a favor? Go to my room and get my kindle" and I jokingly told him no. So, Breelyn asks, "Mommy will you do me a favor? Go to my room and bring me my toys?"
- Brandon gave Breelyn some small shells he brought back from California. Breelyn put them in a basket and has been carrying them around. They are her little treasures. So she holds a small conch looking shell up to me and asks "what do you hear?" I told her "I hear the ocean." So, I ask her "What do you hear?" She says, "I hear the choir singin'!?"
- Bree had a popsicle for breakfast. She was sick and her throat sounded like it hurt so I let her have one. A while later she comes over, very happy, and says "Mommy, I'd like an orange one." "Um, you can have one later, you need to have some breakfast first. I start naming, bacon, eggs, cereal..." "No! I can't like something to eat! I like something to taste!" I smiled and calmly asked her, "Would you like to taste and listed everything again. Finally I asked if she wanted to taste a peanut butter sandwich." Her face lit up again. "Yes!"
- Bradley shakes his lower jaw when he is cold or when he cries. He came out that way. I think it's so cute. So this morning Bradley had just woken up and so he is smilling at Bree his lower jaw shaking. Breelyn sees it and says "Look, he's shakin. His face is shaken. Aaah. Good job Brad!" Bradley loves to watch Breelyn.
- After Sacrament Bree was trying to make her way to nursery out of the chapel. A group of men were standing in front of the doors blocking her way. Bree says"Excuse me. (no reply) EXCUSE ME (no reply) EXCUSE ME BOYS! (they part, though I don't think they heard her)
- Bree then stands in line to shake bishop's hand. He doesn't see her at first so she touches his hand and he smiles and shakes her hand. "How's it goin?" she says.
- At our ward party. (Bishop told me this after the party) Breelyn was walking by Bishop and wife and did a double take. So Bishop told her hello. Breelyn walked over to him. Stuck out her hand to shake his hand. Shook his hand and asked, "How's it goin?"
