The one where Bree gets married!

Journal excerpt: June 10, 2012

After church I was approached by several ladies from the primary "Did you know your daughter got married today?" I assumed it was an activity in sharing time about temples. "Yep, Andrew proposed and Breelyn said, Yes! They even sealed it with a kiss." Ha,ha. I laughed nothing could make me happier than Bree marry Andrew! So here is the story from Andrew's Mom. (Her kids are so funny they always call her Breelyn never Bree.)
Breelyn arrived in primary and Andrew asked "Breelyn will you marry me?
Breelyn: "Yes."  I wasn't there but knowing Bree she probably said something more like. "That would be so great!"
They kissed on the cheek.
Andrew interrupts: "No! I kissed her twice! Once on the cheek the other on the nose!"
Bree: "But the Primary Teacher told us: Okay, that's enough kissing!'"
Later Catherine told me On the way home her oldest boy Lukus who is 6 told his little brother Andrew 4. "You can't get married yet Andrew, First you have to get baptized, then you have to go on a mission, then you have to look all over at every girl, then you get married. And you don't kiss a girl until you are married."
Andrew: "No, I only want to marry Bree. I asked her and she said, yes!"
Lukus: "No, Andrew, you have to look ALL OVER THE WORLD at every girl first!"
Andrew: "I ONLY WANT, BREE!"

It was cute the Dad's had to talk about it over the phone.

Andrew's Dad told us they went up to the top of the hill to look around and noticed some deer. Andrew told his Dad, "When it's Christmas I want to drive Breelyn up here so we can sit and watch for Santa Claus and his reindeer." A's Dad replied "You are not parking with Breelyn." Haha.

Obviously it was just adorable! But we know we shouldn't encourage that behavior and they both had a little talking to about kissing.

Mom Day & Dad Day

Mother's Day:
Mommy was sick on Mother's Day but there was absolutely NO WAY that I was going to miss my very first opportunity to have a child sing to me in sacrament so I sucked it up and we went. Breelyn was right up front but then got bumped to the back and I was so sad I wouldn't get to see her little face during the song. A little way through the song she stuck her little head out and gave me a little wave and a huge smile before getting sucked back in. Her little head and wave popped out a couple more times through. It was one of the best moments of my life. I can't describe how it felt to see my little girl singing to me on Mother's Day. I almost cried... or did. :) After the song, Breelyn jumped up to the microphone and Brandon and I (who were sitting in the very back of the overflow) both say "NO!" under our breath, she must have thought better of it, or her little mind heard us and she got back down and walked back to us. Oh, what a special day. That was truly the best Mother's Day gift I could EVER ask for.

Anyone else have kids that like to take pictures as much as mine. They are seriously just fine the moment before/after the picture. I don't remember it being like this when there was only 1 kid. :)

Father's Day:
Breelyn had a perfect spot right up front for the sacrament primary song then promptly moved so she was next to the microphone. She didn't sing a word, she was so busy grinning and looking cute! Later the woman who was speaking told me she was so cute, she didn't want to walk off the "stage" when she was done. So she came skipping down all the way from the podium to the overflow, where we were sitting, again. :)

Bree's New Do! 6-14-12

This is the last time her hair will EVER be this short. The hairdresser and I had a miss communication of how short it should be. Though Breelyn does make the haircut look good. :)
