Breelyn vs. Bradley

I just wanted to see what they looked like next to eachother at the same age and thought maybe you would too. It's interesting to see. Love them both so much. I made a mistake they are actually 4 days old but 2 days home from the hospital.

Smiles

It's so funny the ridiculous things you'll do to get a baby to smile. It's so worth it though. :)

As much as I love the sleepy/asleep smiles like this one. The real thing just can't be beat

Just Bradley

Love this outfit Holli. Thank you!

Love to watch him grow!

Daddy's newest monkey.

Bath Time!

Just Bree and Bradley

Ready for church

Dancing to primary songs.

Taking a bath. Breelyn likes to help. "I need to wash him" she says.

Bradley's Baby Blessing

Bradley was blessed the first week of January. Breelyn kept talking to me during the blessing it was hard to tune her out. We loved having family there to share this day with us! I have pics of Bradley with relatives but didn't want to post their pics just in case they don't want to be posted. :)
I was able to find a cute knit outfit in Utah. Brandon's sister was able to make him some booties. Thanks Holli they were so nice to have.  And Brandon's Oma made him a sweet little blue knit blanket that I love, it is so soft. Thank you! I have better pictures in his outfit and with his blanket. I went over to jcpenny's and had them take a few so I had a nice one.
Bradley's Blessing Outfit

Grandpa Haskell loves to cuddle his grandbabies. I liked this pic.

Another picture of our little boy.

Breelyn and Chesney
Breelyn is not really into babies right now and she really didn't want to hold Chesney. It could be that the first time she held Chesney she spit up (Bree calls it "spit out") all over Bree. Breelyn was absolutely disgusted!  But, she claims her brother and loves to talk and interact with him. Mostly she likes that he is an attentive audience when she is performing since he can't get away. :) "Watch me Brother! Watch me do this. See!"

Breelyn's Best Friend Baxter
These two are so much fun to watch chase eachother around and play. They pretty much grew up together.

Chesney. Isn't she sweet. I love her. She likes to smile for me. :)

Bradley 2 month pics. JCP

These are Bradley's 2 month pics from JCPenney's I finally figured out how to save them since they changed the website. I love JCP's it's only $4 a sheet and no sitting fee so you can just get like 1 sheet each month and then you have each month photographed. That's what I did with Bree and what I am doing with Bradley. Then they send you the smile by wires so you don't have to buy all of them but you still have them for memories since they don't always turn out. These are just a few I liked.

He looked so cute and sad.

He actually fell asleep but he looks like his eyes were just closed since he body looks alert. I don't know. I did blessing pics at sear's too since I had a free coupon but the lady did a horrible job. I hate Pocatello Sear's portrait studio.

It's Mickey Mouse!

I'm waiting for a video to upload this morning and Breelyn is eating an apple. She says "Mom, it's a mouse! Like on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!" It's her current favorite show. Anyways, she brings me her apple and shows me so I had to take a picture. The things this girl comes up with it's amazing.
Do you see it?! It's a little twisted to the right but I saw it when she showed it to me. Isn't she sweet! She amazes me everyday. Yesterday she showed me two blocks that were triangles, stuck them together and said "Look! These two triangles make a square!" No, joke. My mouth hung open for a second while she walked off singing a song. Breelyn knows her alphabet, numbers 1-20, Shapes and some words. She loves to learn and sing. The kid always points out stop signs and says "That's an octagon. It says stop." Brandon and I looked at eachother thinking "Holy Cow, where'd you learn that!" She's really good at picking things up quickly. I get alot of comments from people, that hear her talking, about what a good talker she is and such.

Oh, I think she has a messy face in every picture of her on the blog. :)

Sweet Baby Boy

Bradley arrived on November 16 yet his due date was supposed to be December 6. I typed this up once before but it was reallllly long and so i never posted it. Here is the short version.

Sweet Baby Boy
Bradley G. Riebeek
At our first ultrasound Baby didn't fit on the screen since he was too far along for the internal ultrasound. I assume to save us the cost of another ultrasound the Dr. measured what she could guessed a date Dec 6-8 and told us we would get a more accurate due date at the next ultrasound to determine the sex. Well the ultrasound tech guessed earlier but didn't measure for gestational age since it wasn't reported to do so in the paper work. Or Whatever. At the next appointment I asked the dr. about it and was immediately told "Oh, no. We don't change the due date. The earliest measurement is the most accurate." Again, WHATEVER. She had said... that the next ultrasound would be most accurate. The Dr. was firm by measuring my fundal height (which after looking it up doesn't seem all that reliable since it depends on the persons body anyways) which stayed with Dec. 6-8 due date. Now I didn't know what the due date was supposed to be (from me) but I knew what it wasn't. And I knew this baby should be due the middle of November. Specifically November 16. No joke! I have it written in my journal a month before he came. Anyways when I went in to have Bradley they said that even though it was really early they wouldn't stop me because 36 weeks would still be okay for the baby. I wasn't concerned since I knew he was ready. So I had Bradley and the Pediatrician (sp?) came, who we met for the first time right then and love. If you need a family dr. recommendation just ask he's great. Anyways, he introduced himself and then says "Um, they told me you delievered at 36 weeks. But... (looking totally bewildered) this is a full term baby." Yep. The guy confirmed everything i'd been saying through out this pregnancy and I was right! People might of thought I was crazy to think he was going to come almost a full month early but I knew. Mom is always right! :) I was completely frustrated with my Dr. but I had a great labor experience this time so I might stay with her for the next one.

So I had a free coupon to sears portrait studio and took bree in her christmas dress. You can share them and I thought grandparents or anyone might like to see them. Just click on the

Cute kids

I love my children sooo much. I'm so lucky to be there mommy. I am also so lucky to have such cute nieces and nephews I love them so much, too. And am so happy to be their aunt. I wish I could see them all more often. Just because they are so cute here are some pics of Bradley and Chesney. Bradley my son and Chesney one of my niece's.

Here is cute little Chesney in her super cute outfit. She was busy sucking on her binky and when I pulled my camera out and said smile baby girl she shot it out of her mouth so fast and looked cute, she's a natural!

Happy New Year!

New Year's Eve we took Breelyn sledding in Brandon's parents backyard it took her a while to not think it was scary but I think she had fun.
Bradley. Such a sweet boy.
New Year's Eve night. Cheesy Bree, she's so much fun she spent the night performing for everyone all the songs she knew. I will try to post a video she's so funny. Bradley just relaxing.

Baby #3!

Tyler Maxwell Haskell or Max
son to Tyler and Amanda

The third baby to arrive on the Haskell side this year made his debut on December 30. He was 8lbs 5 oz and 22 inches long. He is adorable! He has tons of hair and full red lips. So sweet.

Blocks

This post is mostly for Aunt Michelle. :) She gave Breelyn blocks for Christmas. Breelyn LOVES blocks. She loves to build. I love that this tub has a shape sorter on top since Breelyn also loves to sort things it's easy to get her to pick them up and put them away when she is done.
The day after Christmas I got up to feed Bradley at about 6 a.m. ish. I open the bathroom door where I was feeding him since it's really warm there. Anyways, I open the door and Breelyn is standing there. "Hi, Mommy!" Rubbing her eyes. She scared the pants off me I laughed so hard. "It's Christmas want to see my presents, want to play with me?" I couldn't resist so we played until I had to go back to bed. She kept playing with her toys and when we got up for real this is what we found. She had built herself a castle, she loves castles, and she did an amazing job! I was impressed! We get asked on a regular basis "Want to play blocks with me? OR Want to build with me?" So, Thank you Michelle! She loves it and it's fun for us to play, too!

Merry Christmas!

Here is a short Christmas post. I had hoped Bree would want to make cookies with me for Santa, in our matching aprons, since she loves to help cook. But she wanted to play playdoh with Dad instead. They built a really neat santa with sleigh. I thought it was pretty awesome!
Breelyn and Bradley Christmas Eve. We gave them one present christmas eve - Pajamas, slippers and a christmas book. We gave Breelyn her's and she opened the bag threw the tissue paper, threw the clothes, threw the slippers then saw they were Dora, stopped to pick them up and looked in the bag again and threw that. I guess it wasn't what she expected.
Breelyn and her Christmas loot. Notice her Dora slippers. Brandon woke her up christmas morning and asked her "Guess who came?" Bree: "Santa!" Dad: "And what does Santa do?" She grabs her tummy and shakes it "Ho,Ho,Ho." Dad: "Uh, yha. But he also leaves presents!" Bree: "Oh,yha!" When she came into the living room she first saw the castle "Whoa, Wow! A Castle just like Barney!" (it's seriously the cheapest thing I got her and she loved it the most)
Bradley in his Christmas outfit. He's definitley our best Holiday gift. :)
Since we stayed up sooo late I didn't get many pictures of christmas day. Bree had a cute ponytail that frizzed out in an hour and she looked cute in her christmas play clothes.
Anyways, we had a GREAT Christmas as a family of four and loved bouncing from house to house to see our wonderful families!
