The Grinch's Visit

The Grinch came to visit again this year. I wasn't sure what I thought about it when Brandon said his co-worker dressed up and went around to people's houses. But if you know the whole story he is a really great guy and making it a fun, joke of an experience allows him to give generously to families and have some with his friends and their families. And the kids really love all the noise makers, treats, and glow in the dark toys he throws at them! He brought Breelyn a bag of chips this year since he "pretended" to steal Bree's chips last year and she chased him down.

Haskell Family Picture

Everyone was together for once. So, we knew we had to get a family picture done. Ashley is working at Sears Portrait Studio right now and got us in on Christmas Eve really quick. It was crowded and hot but we got one!

A visit with Santa!

Breelyn really wanted to see Santa this year...

Bradley did not want to see Santa this year...

I love it! Totally worth the $10 this picture cost me!

Bradley actually loved playing and visiting with Santa after the picture was taken and Santa wasn't actually touching him.

Santa was so over listening to Bree's "Want" list after the first few minutes. It made me sad. She was really just trying to think of something to talk to him about. She is a very good girl.

Breelyn says, "I'm on the nice list, Bradley is on the nice list, Daddy is on the nice list. But Mommy is on the naughty list because she sent me to my room for something I didn't do." Yes, it was true.

Bradley loved the huge tree box! They both did and played in it every day.

Bradley is so ready for a big boy bed. He loves to cuddle in bree's bed and pretends to snore.

This true was decorated a little more everyday. She loved it.

Notice the little Dalmatian ornament! She found it at Hobby Lobby and we just had to get it! 

Bradley really loved decorating his tree but did not like taking a picture of it.

Nativity animals work for more than just the nativity itself.

I was feeling really crafty and went to Michael's and picked out a ton of beautiful ornaments in my favorite colors. Only to look at the cart and thought "Yeah, these won't last til christmas" I put them back we made all our ornaments and I will try again once my youngest child turns at least 6?

Bradley got into making ornaments.

Christmas Jello! They loved these things.

Andrew found this flower after the ward Christmas  party. He came over after the party because he had to give it to Breelyn tonight. "Thank you very much, Andrew." After he left she says "Well, I guess I better go over to his house and talk to him about getting married."
